Day 7 Friday 21st June Last Day in London

Our last day in London.  Murray & Lorraine had bought a 2 day Hop on hop Off bus ticket and we had our Oyster card so we decided to go our separate ways for the day.  We had breakfast together before we left.  The Pullman London St Pancras has been a brilliant hotel to stay at. Both the food and the service has been first class.  So much so that we have eaten here every night!!!
Paul & I set off on the train again for a leisurely day. We decided to go to Harrods first.  we thought we would be there for 5 mins for a look and ended up there for nearly 2 hours drooling at the food.  It was unbelievable.  The temptation became too great so we decided to buy something and have a picnic lunch in Hyde Park.  Paul chose Crayfish sandwiches and I had a Peking Duck with hoi sin sauce wrap.  We got a small serve of chicken, avocado & mango salad to go with it and some fresh diced mango for dessert!!! We walked to Hyde Park (its HUGE for anyone who hasn't been there) and had our picnic by the lake.  We then walked to Marble Arch and along Oxford Street looking at all the shops.  The crowds were huge as the sales were on.  We caught another 2 trains home after a very enjoyable day.  My pedometer said we had walked 11 km!!! Met up with Murray & Lorraine for tea and caught up with the news.
